    REGISTRATION IS FREE, however SPACE IS LIMITED!

    PLEASE NOTE: Participating aircraft will need to be in place at KPCM no later than 9AM on February 27th and are expected to remain for the duration of the event! (3PM). If you do not wish to remain for the entire event, free GA parking is available, however only display aircraft remaining for the entire event will be placed in the display area and judged. Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, along with a Committee's Choice Award.

    Registration for the 2027 Planes, Trains & Automobiles Car Show

    Welcome to the 2027 Planes, Trains & Automobiles Car Show! Please click the link button to register. 

    Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, along with Committee Choice awards. ALL VEHICLES NEED TO BE IN PLACE BY 9AM FEBRUARY 27th, AND WILL BE EXPECTED TO REMAIN FOR THE DURATION OF THE EVENT. Again, please understand that as the event is on an active airport ramp with LOTS of families expected to attend. Due to safety concerns vehicle movements will be restricted to before event opening and upon event closing. 

    PLEASE NOTE: This is a car show on an active airport, and while we welcome vehicles of all shapes and sizes, SPACE IS LIMITED. Entrants MUST register IN ADVANCE - DRIVE UPS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED DUE TO AIRPORT SECURITY AND FAA REGULATIONS!

    REGISTRATION is FREE, but is limited to 75 vehicles. Registration includes 2 admission passes to the event.

    Registration for the 2027 Planes, Trains & Automobiles Model Train Show.

    REGISTRATION is FREE with a layout, space is limited to 8 layouts.

    Vending is allowed, however vendor participants MUST REGISTER as a vendor as well as the layout registration here.  Vending is allowed without a layout, but the vendor fee WILL BE REQUIRED IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN OPERATING LAYOUT. See the Vendor page on the website for details.

    • Must provide a 10 x 10 weighted pop up tent/pavilion

    Food Trucks

    • Food trucks operating self-contained, commercial-grade kitchens, offering full menus, and requiring larger operating spaces will be classified as full-service food trucks.
    • $250 per truck. 
    • A maximum of six full-service food trucks will be accepted for the 2027 event. 
    ABOUT THE EVENT

    Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is a beloved one-day community event featuring a wide variety of activities geared towards families each year at the Plant City Airport. Featured highlights will be numerous aircraft on display, a car show, and operating model train layouts. First responder vehicles and personnel along with train safety vehicles and equipment will also be in the lineup. There will be many hands-on stations for kids, including STEM education exhibits and flight simulators from the Aerospace Center for Excellence, Young Eagles discovery flights conducted by our local Experimental Aircraft Association chapter, Scout merit badge opportunities, a pinewood derby, and many other activities. Younger children will enjoy inflatable bounce houses and other fun adventures just for them! Food trucks and local vendor displays will also be part of the lineup where area businesses can showcase their products and services to attendees for a nominal fee.

    The purpose of the event is to give families an affordable day together discovering the wonders of transportation, introducing them to not only aircraft and aviation opportunities at their local airport but a wide variety of "how things work" displays and fun educational activities to capture the imaginations of our local youth. The event is managed by the Tampa Bay Aviation Association and presented by Tampa International Airport. In addition to promoting and delivering this amazing community event, the organization will be taking donations and committing proceeds after expenses to fund aviation scholarship programs for local youth. The scholarships will be for flight training, mechanic, and professional career education. Come and join the fun!

    REGISTER TO BE A VENDOR AT THIS EVENT

    Interested applicants are asked to complete the registration form and submit the $75.00 fee per 10x10 space desired. Seeking all types of vendors.

    FOOD TRUCKS

    If you are interested in participating as a food truck you can reach out to director@plantcitymainstreet.com directly to express interest. Food Truck fee is $250.

    INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

    Due to the venue location for this event, a certificate of insurance is required for vendors.
